Naomi brings a wealth of experience to her role as Healthy Heads in Trucks & Sheds’ inaugural Chief Executive Officer.
Naomi was previously Executive Director of the TrackSAFE Foundation – an Australian rail industry not-for-profit that addresses suicide on the rail network, and the resultant trauma caused to train drivers and other frontline staff. It is this experience that Naomi will draw upon and apply to HHTS, to strengthen and grow the organisation, and work to improve mental health in the trucking and logistics industry.
Naomi has spent her career to date honing her passion for working nationally to unite industries behind significant causes such as mental health, providing individuals and organisations with the resources they need to face challenges head-on, creating cultures of care and support.
Naomi holds a Bachelor and Masters from Monash University, and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

In August 2021, Melissa joined Healthy Heads in Trucks & Sheds bring extensive on-the-ground industry experience to her role as Director Industry Relations and Program Management.
Melissa has worked in the road safety sector and managed road safety projects and campaigns for over nine years. Part of this time was spent in her previous role as Safety, Health and Wellbeing Director at the Australian Trucking Association (ATA). Here, Melissa led the evidence-based design of SafeT360, the trucking industry’s major public-facing safety exhibition and campaign launched in November 2019. She also managed TruckSafe, a comprehensive industry safety accreditation scheme that considers the technical and mechanical aspects of industry safety and addresses human safety factors.
Melissa has been recognised by the Institute of Public Works and Engineering Awards for excellence in local government road safety having coordinated a successful campaign across nine local government areas.

In May 2020, Sally joined Healthy Heads in Trucks & Sheds as the Communications Manager. Now, in the role of National Marketing and Campaigns Manager, Sally is responsible for directing and delivering campaigns in alignment with the Foundation’s key strategic ambitions. Sally leads projects and initiatives that contribute to mental health awareness-raising and stigma reduction in the Australian supply-chain sector. With a strong focus on advocacy, Sally is responsible for regular communications with industry organisations, media and government agencies. Sally is passionate about growing brand awareness and increasing industry-wide engagement with Healthy Heads in Trucks & Sheds. Sally came to Healthy Heads with a significant communications background, having worked across both corporate and consumer sectors. Coming from a rural and agricultural background, Sally takes pride in working toward improving mental health and wellbeing outcomes within the road transport and logistics industries, and has a passion for giving a voice to individuals with lived experience who can help promote change. Sally holds a Bachelor of Media and Communications, Majoring in Advertising and Public Relations.

Kayla joined Healthy Heads in Trucks & Sheds as Project Coordinator in March 2022. Kayla brings on the ground industry experience having worked in the road transport industry for over three years. Kayla has extensive experience in the development and delivery of impactful events, activations and programs, from grassroots community engagement to national educational initiatives. Kayla leads the Healthy Heads Roadshow, reaching truck drivers and people working in warehouses and distribution centres through face-to-face events. As well as this, Kayla coordinates other projects that focus on awareness-raising and education, facilitating the opportunity for businesses and individuals to increase their understanding of mental health and wellbeing in alignment with the National Mental Health and Wellbeing Roadmap. Kayla is passionate about working towards a healthier and happier industry, where mental health is as every day as safety.
